2011 General Rules

* Peewee (11 & Under) Junior (12-17) Adult (18 & older)

* Division choice must be listed on first entry form and continued thru season

* Proper dress is not required to participate

* All pleasure class horses must enter the arena on the rail at a walk

* When your class is called, be ready and prepared to enter the arena as the preceding class is lined up for final inspection

* NO late entries. You MUST be registered in class BEFORE class is called to arena.

* Bridle Path Hack Class - either style English saddle is acceptable

* Trail Classes - Lope or Canter & Back will be required

* The Arena Gate Must be closed before you start to run in ANY GAME CLASS. Your Horse Must come to a complete Stop before the arena gate is opened. Runs started before the Gate is closed

will be Disqualified

* NOVICE = Anyone that hasn’t won a 1st place ribbon prior to this year

* GAITED classes are for Non-Trotting horses

* GAYP = Go As You Please (walk & then gait choice above a walk)

* WILDCARD CLASS = Points add to winner’s division

* GAIT CODES = Walk, Jog, Trot, Lope, Canter, Back, Slow Gait, Style rack, Gait-On (horse’s fastest gait for their breed), Loose Rein at a walk - Class#27

* Points are awarded in all classes except #4, #5, #6, #7, #13, #21, #28, #34, #52

* Points earned: 1st Place = 4 points, 2nd = 3 points , 3rd = 2 points,

4th = 1 point, Entry in class = 1 point.

* Classes may be added or deleted at our discretion. Four (4) entries constitutes a class. Added classes do not count toward points. Any questions concerning rules and/or classes should be directed to the registration booth.

Adult - 18 yrs & Over (Classes 8/9, 14, 24, 31) Buckle

Gaited - (Classes 10, 17-19, 25, 27) Buckle

English - (Classes 11/12, 20, 26, 30) Trophy

Classes 1-3 are Pleasure Wildcard classes

Game - (Classes 35-37, 38-40, 43-45, 46-48, 49-51)

Classes 41, 42 are Game Wildcard classes
